T.U.N.G dining proudly presents the 1st collaboration dinner in our restaurant. On the 6th of August, we will open the door of our kitchen to welcome Chef Johnson Wong and his team from restaurant gēn 根 in Penang, Malaysia for a 4 hands dinner event gēn 根 x T.U.N.G dining
Chef Johnson Wong, a talent of Penang, Malaysia graduated culinary school in 2007 from le Corden Bleu, Sydney. He then went on to work in some of the world’s top culinary institutions including restaurant Rockpool in Sydney (2009), hotel Ritz Carlton in Dubai (2011), and restaurant NoMa (staig,2014).
Being known as one of the brightest star of Malaysian gastronomic establishments, gēn 根 shares T.U.N.G dining’s philosophy of cuisine and also business. We both are the teams of young individuals who are working to push the boundaries of our countries’ gastronomic scenes, who decided to come back to our roots and try to offer the best of ourselves.
And with our special menu, being prepared with our 2 chefs’ most attentions, we hope to bring out the best of T.U.N.G dining and gēn 根 to offer our guests an unforgettable 4 hands dinner.
